Back to Disney

Nap time in the van shortly before we reach our hotel

I know it seems like we go to Disneyland often. I guess, that's a relative term, but Jay and I feel like it's such an easy and inexpensive trip to make. The kids love it. We love it, and it won't be too much longer before they're begging us not to go and we will embark on new family travels...and I'm okay with that. Maybe even more than okay with it. I am looking forward to the time when we explore the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, DC, etc. There's a time for everything and right now Disney seems to be the trip that makes the most sense for us. Plus, we get to visit our great friends, Jesse and Teresa, who recently moved out there from NYC.

Of course we had to pack these little cuties for our trip tomorrow.

Nate's Birthday (almost)

Oh my gosh, I have to get Jay to post the video of us singing "Happy Birthday" to Nate. It's great! I don't know how I managed to get a million pictures of him opening one box and none of him and the cake.
He got his very own "kee-kee-kote" or plasma car as most would call it.

Noah jumped in and volunteered to open every birthday present for Nate. Nate was so funny, though, and would run into the theater room to hide and open his presents in peace. I was totally surprised that Nate was that into opening because I only noticed Noah's interest change at Christmas. Even when he turned three, we had to keep encouraging him to keep opening. It literally just changed, but Nate on the other hand is like totally into it. Super cute!

Easter

Look at these happy boys hunting for eggs!
 And taking a little dip.

We had a fabulous church service celebrating our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It's fun to have some cute traditions with the kids, but we strive to make sure they know the true meaning of each holiday we celebrate.

My Two Dates

This morning, Noah thought it would be fun for us to bring Nate on our date with us.

Noah showed Nate the ropes, helping him select the perfect bagel combination. I have no doubt Nate's was another combo Noah wanted to sample but didn't want to fully commit to. Then, Noah had another idea when our bagels were brought to our table: "Nate, we could "even Steven" our bagels. You can have half of mine and I will have half of yours. Then we can try both bagels!" Of course Nate obliged, and Noah actually liked Nate's more than his own. We had a great time sharing our little date spot with Nate. He definitely enjoyed it too!

Palm Sunday Easter Egg Hunt

Since Nana and Papa are going back to Ohio for Easter, we did an early celebration at their house. They put together a great egg hunt for the boys!

New Friend

Nate loves our traffic slower. I couldn't resist taking a picture when he picked one up to passenger in his power wheel.
