Two-Wheeler

Grammy and Grandpa gave Noah a "big boy" bike for his third birthday. It took him a minute to let go of his tricycle, but he's been zooming up and down the street ever since. Fast forward eight months later and we are seeing a bunch of his friends take off the training wheels. While Noah thought that was super cool, he wasn't crazy about the idea of following suit. He was just fine with the way things were. He didn't feel the least bit pressured to be like his friends.
So Noah's 4th birthday was approaching and we didn't have any great gift ideas yet. I ran into a razor scooter on clearance and thought Noah would love it. I was right. He opened it, his eyes lit up (although they did for his new underwear too!), and he wanted to try it out immediately. As Jay took it out of the box, he noticed the caster wheel on the back and then understood why the age recommendation on the box was 8. Oops! I guess I didn't realize there were that many varieties of scooters. Noah pleaded with Jay to just let him try it and to our amazement, Noah was a pro. He forgot about his bicycle and didn't look back. I tried to tell him that if he could ride the scooter, he would definitely have the balance for a two-wheeler, but he still wasn't interested.
A couple weeks ago, I had just seen a post of Noah's second cousin Camden, learning to ride his two-wheeler and thought maybe Noah would get excited if he saw Camden having success with it. Let me tell you, it sparked some interest. The bike was dusted off and the rest is history...
*Sorry for the poor quality of the movie. The sun was almost down, but you know I had to catch his first  ride.

These boys find fun wherever we go. While doing some grocery shopping, they spotted a bench their size and had to check it out.
