OHIO

I'm sorry I'm skimming through these posts so quickly. I just feel so far behind (which I realize is my own fault).
Noah's second trip to Ohio and Nate's first.
We spent a nice amount of time with Yaya and Papa. We enjoyed their "hospitality table" in their front yard. It's a table where they gather daily to attract neighbors as well as other passers by. Noah especially loved the 60 some year old tree out front.

We played at a park near Grammy and Grandpa's house.

Noah and Nate also met their second cousins, (my cousins) Olivia and Anna Mae. Our trips happen to overlap as they were visiting from San Luis Obispo. We met them at the Lake Metro Farm Park where they enjoyed a totally different farm experience than we have out here.

Check out Noah's carrot in his mouth - and Nate LOVED the roosters!

We were used to seeing deer when we lived back in Ohio, but now it is back to being a novelty. My dad and Pam see deer in their yard all the time.
We went creek walking with Grandpa. The boys loved it. It was like nothing they've ever done before. I left my camera in the car because I was too busy holding hands while in the water. At one point, we were in water waist-deep (for me, Jay, and my dad) and neck-deep for Noah. Noah was being pulled away with the current. Jay had to hold Nate. It was quite the adventure!
On our way to the airport, we tracked Grandpa and his UPS truck down. Noah jumped in for a snapshot before Grandpa had to be on his way to deliver some more packages.
