Fun With Friends

We have a great group of kids and moms in the neighborhood. We meet at the park every Tuesday afternoon (and then some!) and have grown to be really close friends. Since tomorrow is Halloween we decided to decorate caramel apples. The kids had a blast decorating AND eating them!

I have been baking so much lately but for some reason I never seem to remember to take pictures. I really need to get in the habit because then I can share all of my creations with you. The boys were helping me make something for Noah's class for halloween. They were so adorable, but again, I didn't take any photos of the end result. Ugh!

Graduation - Otter to Seal

Nate was SO excited to finally graduate from his Otter class. He's the cutest little thing in the pool because he's in it for the social aspect. He likes swimming but isn't quite as motivated to "graduate" as some of the others. He'll be using the swim barbell and fling his face out of the water and start waving to Noah in the next lane over or kick for a few seconds and then decide that he'd rather just use his arms because "that's funny". You can't help but laugh!

EVO Swim School is pleased to announce that Nate Erickson, age 2 has graduated from the Otter class level. He can now swim independently from the wall to the instructor and roll on his back for a security breath. He will be moving to the Seal class to perfect his kicking skills and improved breath control in order to be a great backyard swimmer. On behalf of Nate’s instructor, John, and the entire EVO Swim School staff, we say…CONGRATULATIONS!

A Little Decorating

After Halloween last year, Wilton had a bunch of these gingerbread houses on clearance so I bought one for each of the boys to decorate this year. Jay and Nate teamed up and came up with this creation, although Nate wasn't a helper for long before he decided to move on to other things.

Noah, on the other hand, was really into it. He wanted to cover every square inch of his house.

Proud boy!

I know what you're thinking. He had a very long explanation as to why the very bottom of this house couldn't have anything covering it.
