The Park

On Saturday night, we brought our dinner to the park and had a picnic. Noah was so distracted by all the dogs being walked and the chirps and quacks of the wildlife. He had so much fun! There was so much open space and not very many people around, so we let him roam free. He had no intentions of coming back to us, so Jay had to wrangle him in.

We also played football, but it was cut short because it was a little too dark.

Happy Birthday to My Forever Love!

Today we celebrated Jay's 32nd birthday with our family. Jay's favorite dessert is lemon meringue pie, so Mimi made two of those so there would be extra for him to snack on all week. I made chocolate dipped strawberries, and Poppy also picked up a super moist coconut cake. Everything was so good! We had a ton of fun hanging out and telling stories. We always enjoy the special time we get to share with our family.

Happy Birthday Brody & Grady!

Today we celebrated Brody's 4th birthday and Grady's 1st! I was in the bathroom when Kristen took her pregnancy test for Brody and I was in the delivery room when Grady was born. It has been so amazing to watch these little ones grow! They are two of the sweetest boys I have ever met. Happy Birthday to Brody and Grady! I love you!!

Happy Birthday Jay! Part 1

Tonight we celebrated Jay's birthday with all of our best friends. We had such an awesome time! It's difficult to do this often since we all have families and many other obligations, but it meant a lot to both of us that everyone made an effort to come. Whose birthday is next??

Happy Valentine's Day from Nana & Papa

Nana & Papa gave Noah his Valentine's Day present a little early since we won't see them until the day after. Doesn't it look like he's really reading the card? He loved the gears and I believe one of them has been added to his collection of "favorite items". He brings one with him wherever he travels around the house.

Peek-A-Boo

Tonight we had our families over for dinner. Noah is always the center of attention, so we had him perform for us all. He loves playing peek-a-boo, so once we got him started, he didn't stop. I have like 8 more pictures of him, but I didn't want to go overboard.

Some of Noah's favorite things

Noah LOVES his wagon. He also LOVES a few select items. I say "items" because they're not really toys. He loaded his duck, saline solution, Brody's skateboard, and his balloon into the wagon and off we went. Unfortunately, now that we've taken the wagon outside, we can no longer ride around the house. Sorry, Noah, no shoes also means no wagon. On a brighter note, he absolutely LOVES being outside, so we take a walk at least once everyday - now in the wagon instead of the stroller. He points out the birds and makes a "b" sound. He can also say "ball", "duck", and "balloon" which sounds much more like "boon". As soon as we walk into the grocerie store, the first thing you see is the flower/balloon area, so Noah points and says "boon." So now we scout out the biggest and loudest (did you know balloons now sing music?) balloon and he holds onto it the whole shopping trip. On a side note, Jay is trying to figure out how to add a video clip to the blog so you can see/hear Noah talk. He talks SO MUCH!! We'll get that up as soon as we figure it out...

Noah!!

Aunt Jenna obviously takes better pictures than I do because Noah seems to be smiling in all of them. I just wanted to share these so you can see how happy he truly is - most of the time!!

Wagon

Tonight we decided to put together one of Noah's Christmas presents from Mimi and Poppy. He loved examining the wagon and would open and close, open and close, open and close, the storage/seat over and over again. Like every baby, he loves exploring new things. Then, of course, we had to test drove it through the house.

Breakfast

I made pancakes for breakfast this morning. Noah loved them to say the least. He ate 3 regular sized blueberry pancakes AND 2 pieces of sausage AND some grapes. He had a really funny blueberry beard that we wanted to get a picture of, but the juice from the grapes wiped most of it from his chin. This is what was left...

We visited GG (Great Grandma) today. She absolutely adores him! All the nurses and other residents have "known" Noah since I became pregnant so they all feel like they know him and fuss over him during every visit - he loves it!! GG's nurses say that her blood pressure as well as her overall health improves after each visit. We really try to stop and say "hi" to everyone who wants to see him just in case we can brighten up their day as well.
