Pumpee Carving

Tonight was pumpkin carving night. We had a ton of fun carving and laughing while Noah explored the inside of a pumpee (that's what he calls pumpkins).

We also made cookies and Noah indulged in his first chocolate chip. He would lick it and say "mmm mmm". He even shared his with Daddy. I guess he couldn't have liked it that much.

He was definitely proud of his pumpee masterpiece. In case you can't tell, it's a ghost with the word "boo" inside of it. Ever since we went to the pumpkin patch and received ghost stickers, he points out every ghost he sees at stores and in front yards saying "woo woo". You probably can't make out that that is a ghost noise by those letters. Anyway, it's that spooky sound that ghosts make. It's so cute when he does it.
And here they are! Mine is the Trick or Treat and Jay's is the haunted house with the ghost.

Peek-A-Boo

I think I've said this before, but Noah thinks that if he can't see you, then you can't see him so covering even just his eyes will do the trick. He loves to hide and be found so we play this game all the time. We call out his name and pretend we can't find him until he can't stand the anticipation anymore. While in the car, he covered his head with his sweatshirt and yelled "Noah! Noah! Noah!" That meant he wanted us to find him. So we played this game on the ride home. It never gets old to him.

"I Cool!"

Noah stepped up on "his ladder" at Mimi's house (that's a whole other story) to find my sunglasses sitting on the counter. He knows they're off limits, but couldn't resist. He put them on his face and said, "I cool!" He makes me so crazy with how cute he is!

Uncle Matt

Uncle Matt came out this weekend. By coincidence, Trinity, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Matt had just sent Noah a Halloween care package that he opened this morning. He enjoyed everything, but his absolute favorites are the matchbox-size cars with rubber wheels. They fly across the floor faster than any of his others do. He can be found pretty much anytime of the day with one or both of those clenched in his fists. Thank you for thinking of Noah!!!

Noah

Noah loves the freedom of not being in the cart while at the store. We allow him to walk as long as he stays with us. He found this little spot while we stopped to look at something.

Daddy and Noah

Playtime is always fun with Daddy:

They fly helicopters.

Play t-ball.

And football. Noah loves to do anything - as long as it's outside.

Fun at the Grocery Store

Before walking into the grocery store, Mimi announced that she wanted Noah to take a ride on the horses - and so he did. As he went round and round he squealed "wee wee" as if it were just as much fun as the rides in Disneyland.

Doctor's Appointment

This morning I had another check-up. The baby's heartbeat was 154 and I did gain a few pounds since my last appointment. Some very exciting news is that we will find out the baby's gender at our next appointment on November 12th. I'm thrilled because I will only be 18 weeks when I had to wait till 20 weeks with Noah - yay! Stay tuned!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with some friends. Noah loved exploring with his friend, Kristin.

Noah LOVED feeding the cows, goats, and sheep! We also went on a hayride but didn't get any pictures of that because Noah wasn't on his best behavior.

We decorated Noah's pumpkin just before leaving. He held his pumpkin on the way home and peeled every last sticker off.

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today we celebrated Papa's birthday at Mimi's Cafe. Noah had a great time playing "thumb war" with Papa and getting all the attention as usual. Jay and I made a pumpkin pie (per Papa's request) that we enjoyed for dessert. Happy Birthday Papa! We love you!

New Movie

We have a new video with Noah meeting Mickey while we were in Disneyland. It is a little long, so Jay had to make it two separate movies. If you want to see the "Noah Dancing" video, it has been moved back to the August 15th post. Enjoy! PS: If you hear, Noah call Mickey "hot dog" it's because that's what he calls him. Mickey sings a "hot dog" song that Noah loves and now just calls him that.

Happy Anniversary!

Today is mine and Jay's 6 year anniversary. This is a little flashback from the day of. M'nen, I love you more now than the day we were married, and I know that it will continue to grow for the rest of our lives.

Weekend Fun!

We were so busy last weekend that we finally were able to get together with friends for dinner tonight. This is the last birthday celebration of mine until next year. It was an eventful night, to say the least. This was also Noah's first night not sleeping at home. He slept at Mimi and Popi's house.

Weekend Fun!

This morning we celebrated Isabella's 1st birthday at a splash park. It was definitely a hit with all the kids.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Since we were out of town for my actual birthday on Friday, we celebrated tonight. Nana made her famous pasta and Jay got a DQ ice cream cake. Everything was delicious! Thank you to everyone for coming and for the generous gifts! We had a great time!
Yes, I gave Noah a few bites of ice cream. His lips have been dyed a green-blue-yellow combination. By the way, Noah says "bu-du-cake" which means birthday cake. I have no idea where he learned it because he hasn't had any since his first birthday, but he caught on to it somehow. We'll walk by the cakes at the grocerie store and he points to the cakes saying "bu-du-cake." Like everything he does, I think it's adorable!
